Bluedaisy's Bargains: Putting it in park..........

I hate to do it, but I'm going to have to put this blog on hold for a little bit. Many of you know we are in the middle of a whole house remodel (3/4 done! yeah!) and I also homeschool the kids ...and well the rest of 'life' is extremely busy too and I just don't have the quality time for this blog like I think it deserves. It's been hit and miss and if you're looking for steady deals, this blog only helps sometimes. So I'll just point anyone following me here, in the direction that *I* go to find the deals so that you can start getting the info first hand and hopefully not miss out on any deals that you can benefit from.

I am still personally getting all the deals, I just don't have time to post them all here. For the most part, I follow about 15-20 other money saving blogs. You can find a list of those that I like the best on my other blog, or what I refer to as page 2 LOL. Many of you are familiar with the blog, but for those that aren't, it is a blog that lists the sites and blogs that I feel really help in finding the deals. On the right you'll see a 'blog roll'. Click on each of these blogs, if don't already follow them, then find the 'subscribe' button or box on their blog and put your email address in it and press enter. You will be subscribing to any new posts they enter on their blog from that time forward. I rarely go to any ones blog anymore since I get most everything emailed to me. I just sort through my inbox and collect info on all the deals that way. Be sure to read the rest of my 'page 2' for other sites you'll find excellent money saving info on. I'll be adding to it very soon since I've found some MORE places for deals!

For any additional info I frequent Hot Coupon World . I don't try to read everything. I just find my way to the stores I'm interested in, as well as Freebies for individuals and the coupon forum, where I find a nice list of printable coupons usually everytime.

I also go to SlickDeals.net to scope out the deals.

I subscribe to MySavings.com and daily I receive an email with a whole list of goodies up for grabs. If you've been reading my blog long, you know I LOVE those guys. VERY good source of info. Be sure to check out their forum section too. I also get daily emails from couponsurfer.com.

I joined Valued Opinions. Valued Opinions is a service where you get paid for giving your honest opinions about products and services. They offer surveys for rewards in the amount of $1 to $50 per survey (but usually $2 to $5) and i've found the $$$ builds quickly enough for me doing their surveys. Some survey sites aren't worth doing, but THIS one is! In just a few months I nearly have $20 to cash in...and I mean CASH! No points to turn in or anything. A check to be cashed yeah! I am a MyPoints member. I collect 'points' by finishing surveys and polls with BzzAgent (mentioned above) and if I'm ordering online, and MyPoints deals with the vender i"m using, I go through MyPoints to place my order, earning me points that can be cashed in for goodies. I use SwagBucks as my search engine. This is JUST ABOUT the easiest way to get free stuff. Instead of using Google or Yahoo's search engines, I go to swagbucks.com (it's actually set as my home page) and I search there. You collect 'electronic' dollars that they occasionally and randomly award you and once you hit a certain #, you can cash them in for gift cards to some of your favorite stores, or other prizes. I usually cash mine in every 45 'swag dollars' for a $5 Amazon Gift card. Once I collect enough of these Gift Cards (sent to your email in the form of a code to enter at checkout), I'm going to order myself something fun from Amazon.com! - I signed up with Ebates! Similar to Mypoints, if I'm placing an online order, I go to the Ebates site first, log in and search the stores they deal with. I recently placed a nice sized order with Old Navy and The Gap and since I went through Ebates to do it, I earned 4.74 just for using Ebates. The $ goes into my Ebates account and every so often, as noted on your account page, they send you the $ either through Paypal or via a check in the mail.
