SwagBucks

I've had this swagbucks account for a little while now but then forgot about it...but now I'm back and talking about it again! I have a little blurb that you might have seen at the top right of my blog, but below is a more indepth discussion.

If you've never heard of it, Swagbucks is super easy to use. All you have to do is register, sign in, and use their search function. (I've bookmarked the search page, but they also have a downloadable toolbar. I've already got more than enough toolbars, so I'm sticking with the bookmark.) The SwagBucks' search function uses Google and Ask.com, so the results are usually what you're looking for. We all search online don't we? Why not choose to search where you can earn freebies w/ every search!? ;)

Each search is an opportunity to win random "Swag Bucks" in the amount of $1, $2, $3, $5 or $10. Swag Bucks can be redeemed for various prizes. I was interested in the Amazon gift certificates, which are 45 Swag Bucks, but there are quite a few other prizes as well.

It's pretty effortless for something I will most definitely use. I will save my bucks until I can order several $5 Amazon Gift Cards and then cash the cards in on something I really way! I've found that on most days, I can earn a SwagBuck in the morning and another one at night. Sometimes both are $1, sometimes, like yestrday, one was $3! I get at least one Swag Buck each day, and average about five searches per award although that is not a strict standard. It's worth noting that only your first 20 searches each day qualify for the random awards.

Now and then they have what they call Mega Swagbucks. During this time, each search will give you the chance to win up to 100 swagbucks. That means with one search you could win enough bucks to trade for a $10 Amazon, $10 Starbucks, or several other items.

Frequently they also release codes that can be typed in that will immediately earn you a buck. The latest one is BeMine. So, if you sign up, go ahead and enter that code for your first FREE buck!

When you sign up, you'll get 3 Swag Bucks to get you started, sometimes they change it to 5 SBs to sign up. And if you'd kindly use my referral link, I'll earn a Swag Buck every time you do. Thank you!

And one more notable point.. at the Good Cents blog I read daily, there is a great tip for maximizing your Swagbucks and how not to waste your Swagbucks. Read HERE and HERE for both of those tips.

If you sign up for the email newsletter, you'll get additional codes that you can enter for free Swagbucks. That's one of the ways I got up to 45 so quickly, which is what you need for the $5 Amazon credit, which seems to be the best freebie they offer at this time. There are plenty of other gift cards available, but the points-per-dollar trade for Amazon is the best ratio, and since I shop at Amazon, it's the best bet for me.

And if you're wondering if you'll ever really get any of those prizes you requested in exchange for saving up your bucks, listen to what she says over at Good Cents about her wins:

"The guys over at Swag Bucks are really great too. All of my prizes have been shipped quickly and without issue. If you have any troubles email them, they are quick to respond and super friendly. Since May of 2008, I have received all of these wonderful things! $515 Amazon money, $45 in Starbucks gift cards, $60 in Target gift codes, $100 in Best Buy gift cards, Wii Sports, a Wii Fit, Bluetooth headset, and a Nintendo DS."

Pretty impressive, huh? Click HERE and start earning that freeeeee stuff!
